This is an ongoing class, and students can sign up at any time. You will improve your Italian through conversation and interactive activities, written and audio materials, grammar exercises, etc. All materials are provided by the teacher. Cost: $150 (incl. tax), paid on a monthly basis (prorated for students who decide to join mid-month).

Dates: March 5, 12,19, April 2, 9, 16.

Classes will meet for 6 weeks at the Travel Bug for 1 hour and 15 minutes each time. 4 to 8 students max. The focus is on learning to speak and comprehend. A "Pimsleur " subscription will be required (https://www.pimsleur.com/).

Cost: $225.
Payment through check, PayPal, Venmo (non-refundable after the class has started).

The Yoruba people of Southwestern Nigeria consider the city of Ile Ife, an ancient sacred city with over 200 shrines, to be ground zero for the creation of humanity. It is the location where Olodumare instructs a host of deities to form the world and live among humans. It is also the most difficult place on earth to purchase just one tomato. Join me as I share the wonders of Yoruba culture, mythologies and my experiences from tomato buying in the market to walks in the rainforest, home to one of the world 's largest colonies of fruit bats. I will also share the most important tip for becoming a Fulbright Fellow.
