Purchase Books  -  eBooks    -    Audio Books from us Online

Through Bookshop and librofm you can purchase online and support local stores

Bookshop.org is an online book marketplace whose stated mission is to help support independent, local bookstores. It was launched in January 2020 by Andy Hunter. It's a certified B Corporation — meaning it’s mission-driven, not just profit-driven, and committed to social/ethical goals. The idea is you can shop for books online like you would at Amazon — but a significant portion of the money goes to local bookstores instead of a giant multinational!

Librofm is an audiobook retailer and app (you can buy and listen to audiobooks). Based in Seattle, Washington and operating in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. You choose a local independent bookstore when you buy, and part of the money from your purchase goes to that bookstore. It’s run as a social purpose corporation — meaning they focus on a mission (supporting indie bookstores), not just profit. Basically, if Amazon’s Audible is the big corporate route, Libro.fm is the indie-supporting alternative.

Palestinian Olive Harvest

with Dustin Weinreb
Saturday February 28, 2026 at 5pm

The annual olive harvest is one of the most important economic and cultural events for Palestinians in the Israeli occupied West Bank. However, it is frequently impeded by the efforts of violent settlers and soldiers. Dustin Weinreb spent a month with the organization the Center for Jewish Non-Violence working alongside farmers in the village of Burin to harvest olives and support Palestinian efforts to remain on their land. He will present his experience and detail the salient issues people in the West Bank are facing.
